All Saints stands at the centre of Oakham, its spire the landmark you pick out from miles across the county. The west tower and spire are 14th-century Decorated work, a little earlier than the mostly Perpendicular body; it’s Grade I listed, and inside there’s some fine carved 14th-century detail. Right beside it are the castle’s great hall and the county museum. Oakham station is a few minutes’ walk to the west.
