Wing keeps one of England’s few surviving turf mazes, a circular labyrinth about 40 feet across cut into the green, thought to be medieval and perhaps walked as a penance. The maze is free and open, with the mound-topped Church of St Peter and St Paul close by and The Kings Arms for lunch. A small village, but an unusual thing to see.
