Raised on a mound above Wing’s main street, this church keeps real Norman work — a south arcade of about 1150 and an old north doorway — beneath a heavier Victorian rebuild of 1875, when the spire came down. Most visitors come for what lies a couple of hundred yards off: the medieval turf maze cut into the green, one of only eight left in England. The church is usually open.
