The Welland Viaduct, better known as the Harringworth Viaduct, carries the railway over the Welland valley on 82 brick arches—about three-quarters of a mile end to end, the longest masonry viaduct across a valley in Britain. Completed around 1878, it still carries trains. Footpaths on the valley floor near Harringworth give the best views of it. Corby station is about 9km to the south.
