Henley-in-Arden’s High Street runs for the best part of a mile, lined with medieval, Tudor and Georgian frontages. Above the town, the wooded mound called The Mount holds the earthworks of Beaudesert Castle, a de Montfort stronghold begun in the twelfth century. Trains stop in the village at Henley-in-Arden station; Wootton Wawen is the next stop south.
