The Boot Inn stands right on the Stratford Canal at Lapworth, a short walk below the flight of locks where the Stratford and Grand Union canals meet. Downstairs is a relaxed bar; upstairs is set for more serious dining, and there are boutique rooms if you’re staying over. Lapworth station is under a kilometre away, so it’s an easy one to reach by train.
