Welcombe Hills grows its vines on a south-facing slope above Stratford at Snitterfield, rolling down towards the Avon. The family who run it name their wines after Shakespeare’s plays, and the still and sparkling bottles have picked up medals in the national WineGB awards. Tours and tastings run seasonally, so check dates before setting out; Stratford Parkway station is about 4km away.
