Just outside Widecombe-in-the-Moor, the Rugglestone Inn is a small Grade II Dartmoor local with flagstone floors, ale poured from the cask and a garden across the stream. Drinks come from a back room rather than a bar counter. It makes an easy stop after the tors above Widecombe, and is open to all.
