St Peter’s at Prestbury has an unusual survivor in its churchyard: a small Norman chapel of about 1175, with a beautifully carved doorway that ranks among the best Norman work in Cheshire. The main church is 13th-century, with a tower from around 1480. Usually open. Prestbury station is just up the road.
