Siddington is a rural parish south of Macclesfield worth a small detour for All Saints — a black-and-white timber-framed church whose frame was consecrated in 1521 and later filled in with brick. There’s little else to it beyond quiet lanes and farmland, but the church is a cracking example of Cheshire’s timber tradition.
