The Lion & Swan is a timber-framed former coaching inn in Congleton, now a hotel that’s also home to the long-running Pecks restaurant and its theatrical tasting menus. It makes a decent town base for the Cloud and the Peak fringe just to the east. Congleton station is under 2km away.
