The main draw at Nether Alderley is its watermill — a low, huge-roofed 16th-century corn mill in the care of the National Trust, with a rare pair of overshot wheels you can watch turning on milling days. The rest is a scattered estate village with a church beside Radnor Mere. It’s just down the road from Alderley Edge and its wooded escarpment. Chelford station is about 3km to the south-west.
