Nant-y-Bedd is a wild garden high in the Grwyne Fawr valley in the Black Mountains, run on organic, self-sufficient lines by its owners. Vegetable beds, orchard, native woodland and the tumbling river run into one another rather than sitting in tidy compartments. It opens on selected days, and the setting deep in the hills above Abergavenny is half the point of coming.
