Church of St Martin
Local highlightNo church in Wales leans quite like St Martin’s at Cwmyoy. An ancient landslip on the hillside twisted the ground beneath it, and the tower and walls now tilt at odd angles — the tower one way, the chancel another. It sits in the quiet Vale of Ewyas north of Abergavenny and is open to visitors, the strange geometry best appreciated from just outside the porch.
