Lucy’s is a long-running deli and grocer in Ambleside, the shop side of a much-loved local food business that also runs a restaurant and cookery events in the town. The shelves run to good bread, cheese, wine and deli odds and ends, plus made-up hampers and picnics for a day on the fells. Open to visitors in the middle of Ambleside — worth a look if you’re putting lunch together before a walk.
