The spire of St Peter and St Paul rises about 60 metres above King’s Sutton, and Pevsner rated it the finest in a county full of spires. Below it the ironstone village spreads around a broad green on the Oxfordshire border. The Green Man Inn stands by the green, and trains stop at King’s Sutton’s own station on the Banbury line.
