Craster to Dunstanburgh Coast Path
Local highlightApproximate location — this spot is pinned to the nearest village, so the exact point may be a little way off.
One of the finest short walks on this coast runs a level mile and a bit from Craster harbour along the grassy shore to the gaunt cliff-top ruin of Dunstanburgh Castle. It’s easy going and open all the time, with the castle growing ahead of you the whole way, and you can carry on to Embleton Bay beyond. Back in Craster, pick up smoked kippers from L. Robson & Sons or a pint at the Jolly Fisherman.
