Trading for over 150 years — first as the Bay Horse, renamed in 1973 — the Clog & Billycock is a village dining pub at Pleasington near Blackburn, now run by Brunning & Price. Cask ales and unfussy seasonal food are the draw, with a long wine list and a garden terrace for summer. Cherry Tree station is a couple of km away.
