The Black Lion is a beamed village pub in Brewood, a short walk from the Shropshire Union Canal. There’s an open fire inside and a name locally for cask ales and Sunday roasts, which makes it an easy stop for boaters off the towpath as much as for the village. Codsall station is about 6km south.
