Thornbridge began in 2005 at Thornbridge Hall near Ashford, where its brewers created Jaipur, the 5.9% hop-forward IPA that made the name. Production later moved to a larger brewery on the edge of Bakewell, which opened in 2009. Tours of the plant last about an hour and a half and finish with a tasting, and there’s a taproom on site.
