Holy Trinity has served Much Wenlock as its parish church for some 900 years, standing just along from the ruins of Wenlock Priory. The present nave was built around 1150 by the priory’s Cluniac monks, and there was a Saxon nunnery on the site long before that. It’s Grade I listed and open to visitors, an easy pairing with a walk round the priory ruins.
