A stone roadside inn set high on Wenlock Edge, the long wooded limestone ridge running across south Shropshire. It’s been a walkers’ stop for years, with wide views over the country below, food and rooms. Much Wenlock is a few miles up the ridge; Church Stretton station is about 12km to the west.
