The Riverside Inn began as a railway building beside the Severn at Cound, and its beer garden now spreads over the site of the old Cound Halt on the Severn Valley line. Inside are wood-burners and terraces stepping down towards the water, with food and rooms. The trains are long gone, but the setting on the river is the reason to come.
