Millichope Park’s 18th-century landscape garden, laid out around cascades and lakes below a Greek Revival house built in the 1830s, opens a handful of days a year for the National Garden Scheme — snowdrops in February, bluebells in May, autumn colour in October. Its walled garden and Victorian glasshouses are mid-restoration, so it’s worth checking the National Garden Scheme website before setting off. St Michael’s Church, Munslow and The Crown Country Inn are both a short walk away.
