A small Norman chapel standing on its own in a Corvedale field below Brown Clee, Heath Chapel has barely changed since the middle of the 12th century. It’s a plain two-cell building, nave and chancel, with a carved south doorway and no known dedication. Nearly 900 years on it still has no electricity or later refitting, which is exactly the appeal. To get in, pick up the key from the neighbouring farm.
