Blists Hill is a re-created Victorian town built across a former industrial site in the Ironbridge Gorge, with a working foundry, gaslit shops staffed by costumed assistants, a small fairground and a bank where you can change your money into old coin to spend. The largest of the Ironbridge Gorge museums, it takes a good half-day. Ticketed, and worth pre-booking. Telford Central station is around 6km north.
