Jackfield Tile Museum fills the former Craven Dunnill works beside the Severn, where decorative tiles were once made in vast quantity for Victorian and Edwardian floors, walls and public buildings. Galleries recreate tiled pub interiors, a butcher’s shop and a Tube station, and you can watch tiles being pressed and glazed. One of the Ironbridge Gorge museums, on the south bank opposite Coalport. Ticketed.
