The Coldstones Cut is a walk-in artwork and viewing platform perched above a working limestone quarry on Greenhow Hill, near Pateley Bridge. Made by the sculptor Andrew Sabin and opened in 2010, its ramps and walls of dry-stone frame views down into the quarry on one side and out across Nidderdale on the other. It’s free, reached by a stiff walk and climb up from the car park — reckoned the highest public artwork in Yorkshire, so expect wind and come in proper footwear.
