A small cluster of private gardens in the Nidderdale village of Dacre Banks, opened together for a handful of days each year under the National Garden Scheme in aid of charity. Expect perennial borders, water features and the odd hosta collection, linked by a short walk between them. It’s a modest, local sort of outing rather than a grand estate, and only worth planning around one of the open days, so check the NGS listings first. Pateley Bridge is the nearest town for a bite.
