La’al is Cumbrian for little, and Debbie, who grew up in Windermere, converted two vintage horseboxes, Yan and Tan, into wood-fired saunas with HUUM stoves. Both now stand by the shore at Bank Ground Farm, on the east side of Coniston Water. Between rounds you cool off from the jetties and swim ladder, facing the Old Man of Coniston.
