Pull in at Jeffrey Hill and the whole Ribble Valley opens out below you, with Pendle Hill across to the east and the Bowland fells rolling away to the north. It’s one of the easiest big views in Lancashire, right beside the road on Longridge Fell, and a favourite pull-in for walkers and photographers. A short path leads on along the ridge if you want to stretch your legs. Free; you’ll want a car to get here.
