The Sportsman’s Arms is a long-established inn and restaurant beside the river at Wath, a hamlet just north of Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale. It’s a quietly upmarket dining spot with rooms, a favourite for a special meal in the dale. Thirsk station is about 10km to the north-east.
