The White Bear is Theakston’s own inn in Masham, the market town where the brewery has made ale since 1827. Pull up a stool for a pint of Old Peculier close to its source, with the Theakston brewery and its visitor centre just around the corner. Rooms and food too. Northallerton station is about 18km to the north-east.
