An 18th-century farmhouse turned dining pub, the Wyvill Arms has been run by the Stevens family for two decades, with log fires, garden-grown herbs and a menu built on Dales produce. It sits opposite parkland on the Wensleydale road. Call in around a visit to Constable Burton Hall Gardens across the way, or the ruined keep of Middleham Castle to the south-west.
