Chef-proprietor Bob Geldeard reopened Grindleton’s former Buck Inn as the Rum Fox in 2023, and it has quickly become one of the Ribble Valley’s most talked-about kitchens, stylish but firmly a village pub at heart. Work up an appetite on the Ribble Way to the east, or pair a meal with the riverside ruins of Sawley’s Cistercian abbey.
