Need a stop on a Ribble Valley drive? Hudson’s in Chatburn is a much-loved ice-cream parlour and dairy, scooping its own ice cream in dozens of flavours with views out towards the Bowland fells. Expect a queue on a sunny Sunday. It’s a short hop from Clitheroe, about 3km down the road, and pairs nicely with a walk up Pendle Hill.
