After a day on the Bowland fells, the Bowland Beer Hall makes a cracking landing spot. It fills a huge old textile mill at Holmes Mill in Clitheroe, with what’s reckoned to be one of the longest bars in Britain and the brewery kit visible through glass at one end. Tours run if you book ahead. Right next door is the Bowland Food Hall, and Clitheroe station is a couple of minutes’ walk.
