Said to be one of Yorkshire’s oldest inns, the Old Bridge sits right by the medieval packhorse bridge over the River Ryburn in Ripponden. It’s a rambling old place for a drink and a meal by the water. Marsden is the closest station, but it’s a good 5km south over the tops, so a car helps.
