The Kinneuchar Inn is a whitewashed old village pub at Kilconquhar, inland from Elie, that’s built a big reputation for cooking with local produce — the sort of place people drive out to for lunch. It’s had plenty of national praise as one of Scotland’s best pubs, so it’s worth booking ahead, and worth pairing with a walk around nearby Kilconquhar Loch.
