After a blow along Balmedie’s big dunes and beach? The Cock and Bull, just up the road, is a beamed country inn that’s built a strong name for Scottish cooking from local produce. It’s a cut above the average roadside stop, and easy to reach on the main road north of Aberdeen. Dyce station is about 10km south-west.
