St Andrew’s is the Scottish Episcopal cathedral in Aberdeen, designed by Archibald Simpson and opened in 1817. It marks a real piece of church history: Samuel Seabury, the first bishop of the American Episcopal Church, was consecrated in Aberdeen in 1784, and the cathedral was later remodelled to commemorate the link. Open and free, on King Street. Aberdeen station is about 700m away.
