Old Blackfriars is a traditional pub on the Castlegate at the top of Aberdeen’s Union Street, a comfortable spot of stained glass, dark wood and a decent range of cask ales. Good for an unhurried afternoon pint in the middle of town. Aberdeen station is about 600m to the south-west.
