Seaton Park runs along the River Don in Old Aberdeen, right below St Machar’s Cathedral. There’s a formal rose garden, open grass and riverside paths, and it links up nicely with a wander round the old town and out to the Brig o’ Balgownie. Free and open. Aberdeen station is a few kilometres south in the city centre.
