The Prince of Wales is a much-loved traditional pub tucked down St Nicholas Lane, just off Union Street, said to have one of the longest bar counters in the city. Expect cask ales, a flagstone floor and an unfussy old-fashioned feel. It gets busy but stays friendly. Aberdeen station is a short walk to the south.
