BrewDog’s main brewery sits just outside Ellon, and it’s very much open to visitors: you can take a 1.5-hour tour of the brewhouse and beer museum, then eat and drink at the DogTap taproom on site, which serves burgers, pizza and the full range of beers. Tours and tables are worth booking ahead. Dyce station is about 20km to the south-west.
