A wood-fired sauna on the edge of the harbour wall at Port Erroll, the old fishing harbour in Cruden Bay
Save this place
Fraileach, Gaelic for seaweed, seats eight and looks straight out to the North Sea from the edge of Port Erroll harbour. The sheltered harbour water is about 20 metres away; the operator suggests booking at high tide if you want a swim and bringing a tow float, since fishing boats still use the harbour. Park at the Port Erroll car park and walk down.
