A period village pub with an open hearth in Watton-at-Stone, in the Beane valley south of Stevenage. It does sit-down food and keeps a traditional feel inside. Watton-at-Stone station is only a few hundred metres away, and Benington, with its hilltop gardens, is a short drive north.
