Just over the ridge from Llyn Crafnant, Llyn Geirionydd is one of the few lakes in Eryri where powered watersports are allowed, so waterskiers and jet-skis share it with the walkers. It sits in the Gwydir Forest above Trefriw, with a lakeside car park and picnic area. Open access, though it gets busy on summer weekends.
