Llyn Crafnant lies in a quiet wooded side valley above Trefriw, a reservoir ringed by walking paths and used for trout fishing. A narrow lane runs up to a car park at the southern end, and you can make an easy circuit of the lake on foot. North Llanrwst station is around 5km to the east.
