Llanrwst is a Conwy Valley market town gathered round its square and the graceful three-arched Pont Fawr, built in 1636 and traditionally credited to Inigo Jones. Beside it the 15th-century Tu Hwnt i’r Bont, now a tea room, sits half under its creeper. St Grwst’s church holds the Gwydir Chapel, with the Wynn family tombs.
